I have always had a passion for reading and writing. This blog grew out of that passion and acts as an extension of both. I spend most of my time at the public library and any excuse to get more reading under my belt is always appreciated.
My dream is to be a published writer of Young Adult Fiction. It's a dream I know I can accomplish. Right now, I do most of my writing on my blogs (this one and Her Fingertips Whisper), as well as FanFiction. These avenues help me improve my writing through practice.
Reading, on the other hand, is basically a reminder of what I'm aspiring to accomplish. By reading, I am learning new styles of writing, accumulating knowledge I may need, and seeing how to execute the writing of a book. As John Green so aptly put it, "I really think that reading is just as important as writing when you're trying to be a writer. Because it's the only apprenticeship we have. It's the only way of learning how to write a story."
So that about sums it all up. I hope you enjoy my book blog and that my craziness doesn't scare you away. I promise, you get used to it after a while.
